Stephen Romano serves as a Field Supervisor for Lake Valley EMS formerly known as Greater Amsterdam Volunteer Ambulance Corps (GAVAC).

Steve began his emergency services career when he was 16 years old as a volunteer firefighter. He joined the GAVAC family as a volunteer attendant in 2005. That same year, he obtained his EMT-Basic certification and went on to obtain his Paramedic license in 2008. Steve is very active in his community both at Lake Valley EMS and numerous agencies in the Mountain Lakes Region. He served as an officer and Operations Manager of Warrenburg EMS until 2019. In 2021, Steve was promoted to Field Supervisor with Lake Valley EMS.
